Cynthia Howroyd has many years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and Educational Consultant. She provides services to preschool and school aged children with a wide variety of needs. Her areas of specialty include social skills, autism spectrum, and literacy skills.

Speech and Language
Services include assessing and treating your child’s ability to pronounce and use words, and sentences to express meaning. This may include your child’s use and understanding of vocabulary, grammar, stories, and conversation.
Social & communication
Services include assessing and treating your child’s ability to play, interact and converse with others in order to communicate effectively and form healthy relationships. This may include special programming for children with autism or ADHD.
Literacy
Services include assessing and treating the many speech-language skills that form the foundation to effective reading and writing, such as vocabulary, phonological awareness, expository language, and reading comprehension.
